Booxx has three plans: Free (€0 a month, up to five sales invoices a month), Standard (€19 a month, everything included, with VAT returns and an automatic bank connection) and Pause (€4 a month, read-only for a set of books that is temporarily dormant). All amounts are per set of books per month, excluding VAT, and cancellable monthly. There are no setup fees and the free plan asks for no payment method.

No, the amounts shown exclude VAT. As an entrepreneur you reclaim that VAT on your own return, so the net cost to you is the amount shown.
Yes. You cancel in your own screen and your subscription runs to the end of the month you've already paid for. After that you drop back to the free plan; your data stays and you can export it.
Each set of books has its own subscription. Two businesses on Standard is therefore two times €19 a month. You manage them under one login and switch with a single click.
The first payment is by iDEAL; after that it runs automatically by SEPA direct debit. Payment happens inside the app — you are not sent off to an external payment page.
It isn't needed: the free plan is permanent and asks for no payment method. So you can try it as long as you like, and there's nothing to cancel if it doesn't suit you.
